Requirement:
Computer skills: The applicant should have basic Microsoft Office skills, be familiar with ERP systems, and also willing to learn new ERP applications.
Knowledge: Must have a good understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques. With industry knowledge and 2-3+ years of domestic logistics experience, having a proven record of sales success and in-depth knowledge of logistics products and services.
Interpersonal skills: Networking and relationship building is vital to getting referrals and successfully closing sales. Hence to succeed as a logistics sales executive, one must develop strong business relationships within all levels of the company and with potential and existing clients.
Communication skills: Whether via email, phone, or face-to-face, is crucial in making a sale. Applicants must have excellent verbal communication skills to convey information on Easy2Go’s Logistics solutions to clients and prospects and provide customer support as needed.
Time management and ability to multitask: Applicants must be able to schedule their daily activities, including customer visits, optimally. Be skilled in handling multiple tasks, such as making phone calls and sending emails or instant messages to co-workers simultaneously.
Team player: Logistics sales executives can work and contribute in a team-oriented environment
Negotiation skills: Logistics sales executives are responsible for giving clients quotes and negotiating with shippers and carriers. Therefore, influence clients must take a position that maximises the company’s benefit.

Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients

Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses

Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers

Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets

Nurture new sales leads to secure business.

Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients

Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with us.

Build relationships and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one.
